Welcome in Turkey
Hello My name is Mustafa Sari,
I am originating in Cappadoce and with my small family I have occupied myself for more than ten years of a small pension with the foot of the castle of Uçhisar, with two superb terraces which gives a splendid sight on the valley of the pigeon ones. Small village located at 7 km of Nevsehir, Uçhisar is regarded as the point highest of the area "1350m" of altitude and it is the favourites place of the holiday makers and the hikers who like to walk and this to lose in this marvellous lunar landscape with many walked on of fairies. In a recent past the population still lived in the fortress but has to give up it because of the increase in population but especially because of erosion. All in top of the fortress of Uçhisar, you will be able to discover a panoramic sight of the area. The castle of Uçhisar would just like have that of Urgüp and Ortahisar of long underpasses, but they will remain a mystery since these passages broke down. I present my wife Gül, and our two children Melek and Serkan. Throughout these years, me and my small family we succeeded in creating a place or overflows in abundance user-friendliness, hospitality, laughter and joy in life. And we bound friendships with our hosts venuent of all Europe and other continents, and it is with the greatest pleasure which we would wish to be able you count among our future hosts that one will hasten together to transform into friendship. Do not hesitate A jettez an eye in the guide of routard and lonly planet.
Alltitude: 1350 m

The White Valley
The White Valley starts from Uchisar and goes down to Cavusin village. Walking through the gardens of the villagers in the base of the valley will amaze you. We will pass through the Love Valley which has different types of 'fairy chimneys', most of them amusingly phallic in appearance.

The Pigeon Valley
The Pigeon Valley is one of the most famous valleys of Cappadocia and its name comes from the pigeon-cotes carved on its walls. The walk starts from the south side of Uchisar fortress and ends at Goreme village. 6 km.

Ihlara Valley & Underground City Kaymakli
We descend into the centre of the earth in the underground city of Kaymakli, one the largest and the deepest of the 40 others in Cappadocia; walking in Ihlara Canyon, a “mirage” in the Steps of Anatolia up to Belisirma village, the ancient Peristrema: “Valley of the Sky” along the Melendiz River. Rock-cut churches, spread across a wild plantation, surprise you with their successfully painted representations from the Bible. We have lunch in Belisirma at a local restaurant by the river. Visit the Caravanserai of Agzikarahan, a very fine example of the Turkish Seljuk art, built in early 13th century on the legendary Silk Road for the accommodation of the traders and their camels.

Soganli Valley
An Open Air Museum in a wild natural setting near a typical Cappadocian village with its different style rock-cut churches with their unique frescoes. Spectacular "table top" mountains surround the village in the valley. Goreme was known, in the ancient times, as Korama. The first references to it are in the early 7th c Acts of St Hieron, a 3rd C. saint who was a native of Matianoi, or the modern Maccan. Goreme is an amphitheatre of ample portions surrounded by steep cliffs leading to a pleasant, verdant valley, which puzzles every single visitor, by the interesting access to many of the caves. The place we refer as the Goreme Open Air Museum is located in a small part of the whole valley, and right next door to the modern village of Goreme. It must have been such a convenient place to dwell that Goreme acted as one of the most important monastic settlements in the early Christian ages.

Any other way to fly over Cappadocia is forbidden, so it is the only way to discover Cappadocia from a higher point.
